Bob Devitz

     Bob has extensive experience in the golf industry including 25 years with ClubCorp, the nation's largest owner and operator of Private Clubs.   Bob is a PGA professional who served ClubCorp in many roles including Golf Professional, General Manager, Regional Manager, Regional Vice President, and most recently Senior Vice President with responsibility for 33 Clubs in the eastern United States generating $130 million in revenues.  Bob developed tools and systems for growing golf revenues and has extensive experience in the sales and marketing of individual Clubs as well as multi Club Memberships.   Bob holds an MBA with a specialization in Marketing from The Florida State University and a BSBA in Business Administration from The University of Florida.   Bob has been a Member of the PGA since 1985.

Bud Lintelman

     The Tour Card is very pleased to announce the a new addition to its golf services.

     Tour Card co-Owner Bud Lintelman will be directing the introduction of a new teaching philosphy, The Unihibited Golf Swing!  Bud has a well-rounded background in both playing and teaching the game of golf. He played collegiate golf under scholarship for East Texas Baptist College in 1979 and 1980. After transferring and graduating from Lamar University, Bud studied the golf swing and was tutored by Butch Harmon, currently the number one teacher in the world. Bud worked at several country clubs in Texas and received membership into the PGA of America in 1989.

     In 1990 Bud accepted the position of Head Golf Professional at Hidden Creek Country Club in Reston, Virginia.  During his tenure at Hidden Creek, Bud's teaching skills and playing skills flourished. He not only coached many scratch golfers who collected many titles, he also introduced many beginners to the game and he developed young players, some of which have begun their own careers as golf professionals. As a player, Bud has qualified and played in multiple PGA tour events, including the three Kemper Opens, and two Michelob Championships. In 1995 Bud won the Middle Atlantic PGA Section Championship. He also carried a conditional status ranking on the Nike Tour in 1995 and 1996. He has competed in several Club Professional Championships which are reserved for the top 300 Club professionals in the United States.

     Most recently, Bud has served as the Manager of the River Creek Club. He has also had regional responsibilities for the Piedmont Club. While this has been a rewarding experience, he is most interested in returning to his true passion - teaching the game of golf.

     The teaching program at The Tour Card includes state of the art technology. A variety of options are available to choose from when reserving a golf lesson. You can compare your swing to your favorite PGA professional, receive a CD of your lesson, or even have it sent to you via email. Specialty clinics for all ages and abilities will be scheduled.   Reservations for private lessons and playing lessons can be booked through our website.      The Tour Card Owners, Bob Devitz and Bud Lintelman, are very excited about bringing this very simple and sound teaching philosophy to the Pittsburgh market.
